"Many know nick dirks in action sports as the rock n roll grungy snowboarder. He has made his name big through his street style riding and his edgy pool riding bowl thrashing pbr drinking oregon attitude. Getting first part in transworlds 'these days' was a huge step forward for nicks career. It seemed as if his career was on the up and up. To everyones surprise, nick called a press conference to early yesterday afternoon to announce that he would be retiring from snowboarding. 'I just don't think this sport is for me' nick said. ' I have found a new love, and NO, it's not skateboarding.' Nick announced that he would begin his new career as a body boarder. ' I have been practicing everyday, i feel at home on the boogie.' Rumors have it that nick has signed a multi million dollar contract with quicksilver. Will Dirks bring the rock n roll, oregon attitude to body boarding? only time will tell."
